Frank Khalil’s journey began in upstate New York City, where the smell of fresh basil and the crackle of the wood-fired oven defined his passion of 30 years. Working in the city’s most authentic pizzerias taught him the secrets of the perfect crust and the importance of a lifetime of experience eventually owning and operating five pizzerias in upstate New York.
Arrival in Albuquerque
Bringing his passion to the Southwest, Frank brought the same dedication to Johnny's Pizza. He saw a community that needed the same warmth and authenticity he had found in the city. We are not just a restaurant; we are a continuation of a family legacy that started with a single slice of pizza.
